The BIPoC Eating Disorders Conference was created to provide education for mental healthcare providers, students, treatment centers and community members to advocate for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPoC) individuals who are often missed or left out of eating disorder care. This conference is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by BIPoC in the realm of eating disorders. This conference was created to fill the gap in treatment, employment, advocacy, and research for BIPoC individuals, who have often been excluded from these areas.
